EasyJet phone number is +44 871 244 2377

My online experience of EasyJet when trying to change my flight was pretty horrific. OK. That’s half true. The site wouldn’t allow me to change it and I was unable to find a phone number to call their helpline. So, true to my style, I turned to my twitter community for help. And as usual, they came up trumps - a user called flyawwway replied with the phone number +44 871 244 2377 within minutes. After less than 5 minutes on the call, I was put straight through to a human and my flight was changed. Problem sorted.

But that’s not all and this is why my online experience with EasyJet wasn’t entirely negative - minutes later on Twitter I received a response from easyJetCare - according to their profile, ‘ If you need any assistance, Paul and his team are able to offer support which can improve your experience when traveling with easyJet’. Paul from EasyJet continued the conversation online to ensure I was a happy customer.

I’m extremely impressed by EasyJet’s adoption to Twitter, as I was and still am, with Lastminute.com who responded in the same way when we had issues changing flights with them.

    Hey Paul,

Easyjet and others make money from their 0870 number so try this:
    http://www.saynoto0870.com/

The regular number is: 01582 700036

In fact that site is great generally for finding companies phone numbers if they hide them

    Hi,

I am trying to call them from Canada and i have tried every number i have come across online including the numbers in this post and i dial 011 44 and take out the extra 0.

Every number is either a busy signal or not in service

The number Joe posted above 01582 700036 it just rings and rings…

I tried calling the baggage department at Gatwick - i got through and they gave me another non-working number ! i even emailed them and they gave me a wrong number with even the wrong country code !

    Anyone have any suggestions?

I am in a similar situation, I have tried dozens of numbers for this company with no results, the # have been busy, non working or one that just rings endlessly. We acidently double booked our flight and would like to cancel it in the 24hour time frame but the company makes this impossible. i have also tried to re-book with alternate fights and recieved a message on screen telling me that it is not possible to book this on line that we need a customer service rep, and ten are redircted to a dead end questions page that doesn’t recognize the login in info that we used 5 min before to pay for the fares to begin with.
Help I am calling from the US and need to resolve the matter.

We are delighted to help with the Easyjet number. To be fair the number isn’t that buried although it is not on the homepage. If you are looking for telephone numbers in future, the BAA sites are good with specific numbers for airport queries, general enquiries, baggage enquiries etc. as well as airline numbers.

We added page of ‘general enquiries numbers’ for UK airports at http://www.flyawwway.com/useful-stuff/uk-airport-telephone-numbers/, although Joe’s comment has spurred us to look at translating them all to ‘real’ numbers as well. These are the official numbers, although as Joe & Sarah suggests they may not always work!

Easyjet on Twitter is a good thing, and like BT Care they seem to be paying attention. Lets hope more airlines can follow suit.

    :-)

Thanks, Paul, for this number. I’ve been going round in circles on the easyjet website, trying to get help and find a telephone number. Paul! Thanks so so much for this number! I tried their online chat feature and it froze my MacBook. I had no idea how I was going to get in touch with them for a fairly complicated question. So for the US and Canada callers, at 10:30 am U.S.time on a Saturday, I dialed 011 44 871 244 2377(was told it would cost me 10p/min on my land line) and within 3 rings a very articulate booking representative answered the phone. My flight was re-booked in less than 3 minutes! Wow. Thanks again.

Liz, thanks so much for your LIVECHAT tip.
I logged on and got an immediate answer. She answered all my questions and done.

I have been going mental, trying to find a right number that isn’t gonna make me take a mortgage out just to pay my mobile phone bill.
I tried calling some of the 015 numbers mentioned here, it rang twice and then went dead. I think they might’ve even taken money off for the call.
    I wouldn’t recommend it.

I don’t understand why they don’t advertise the live chat cause its free of charge, quick, easy and if you do screen shots, you can even keep a record of your conversation for later reference so no one can say you haven’t double checked with them!

    Brilliant solution.

    Dear Paul,

Is it anyhow possible to get the valid contact number to hardjet, as I have had so many issues with them lately, that I am getting really tired of them. I am calling from Denmark, have tried the 871 number, awaited for 1,5h in line, costed me 30 EUR, tried the semi-numbers from the page, they are occupied/no answer.

I am never getting my taxes back on cancelled flights, wednesday their plane was 1,5h late due to a techincal issue in Copenhagen, something with the engine, meaning I arrived late to my connection flight from Berlin and had to spend 27 hrs on European rails to destination instead of 2hr flight, and also pay the costs myself. Yesterday their plane again was late the opposite way, so I again came late to a connection, even though I had good time, really tired of them.

And not to comment, that I 2 weeks ago emailed them, to ask if I wednesday may take an earlier flight, just so I don’t get late, as I could see on the staticits, that they screw people in combination with the weather (not that it was a case for my flight, pure technical matter and stupid handling personel that at end boarding couldn’t find a passenger).

Even the captain sais, that their schedulde is so tight, that a 1 hour flight Berlin Copenhagen, needs 1h and 10 minutes even with tailwind, so it is allready a delay there, and they don’t vare, but just collect our money and laugh in the background.

Hi Paul, My partner and I have just been informed that our flight to Lanzarote has been cancelled because of the volcano. We have booked a whole Package Holiday with Easyjet, so we would like to change the whole of the holiday to a different date, but we have been unable to contact Easyjet, in all different ways since 6am this morning. There does not seem to be any advice regarding the cancellation of Package Holidays. We were offered a Transfer, but only for the outward flight, which shortens our holiday, as the inward flight is still in operation. We would like to change the whole package deal for a later date. We are getting no satisfactory response from Easyjet and are very very disappointed in the lack of customer service and advice. Can you advise us please, we have tried all phone numbers that are shown on this page and which have been given by different customers, but we keep getting cut off. We have tried all ways to contact Easyjet but it is as if they have just gone into hiding. Thanks Sandra Lessiter

I then saw in an email they had sent me, saying there would be no charge to change both flights. So I emailed them easyjet@maileu.custhelp.com and marked it for the attn: Katarzyna Lipczynska She promptly replied to me, and refunded me the £54.00 Good luck

I tried to book a flight on Easyjet. I chose airport departure, destination, date etc, etc and then got the final price! I had to indicate whether I was an old or new customer. I can’t remember my Easyjet password and so I ticked new customer back came the message that I was an old customer and couldn’t proceed without a password which was being sent to my email address. And so…… I had to go back get the password and then start again! Now I was the proud owner of my old password and could proceed with the booking. Guess what? the booking price had gone up by £20 all this within 10 minutes! I’m gutted and very angry.
I left it for a couple of days and found a cheap number to phone Easyjet at Luton (HQ) via Poland. While I was complaining to a very charming young lady the call was costing me 10p a minute. I told the lady that Easyjet don’t need to know whether I’m an old or new customer ‘cos there’s no advantage to being an old customer, no freebies etc etc. She spoke to her boss and then came back with the advice that I should have booked in first with my email details and the problem wouldn’t arise - well you can’t! You are asked for the login details way down the list after imputing some of the booking info.

the phone number you provided for easyjet was very good, got thru right away and the hold time was short. Unfortunately the cooperation from Eastjet was POOR. We made an error on our inital booking, booked our flights in reverse. Instead of Nice to Paris we booked Paris to Nice. The mistake was noticed immediately after hitting the confirm tab. Right away I went in and made the proper changes so that I would not lose that flight time. In doing so I was charged an extra $123.00 euro. When I called Easyjet the following day, due to time change, they refused my request waive the change fees. Hardly customer satisfaction……
